Job Overview
Our design team is tasked with envisioning AI products that have real-world impact. We have full reign to think expansively and strategically about AI's role in helping humans navigate and use data.
As a Design Generalist, you will work directly with the Chief Design Officer and other team leads to expand and continuously refine our suite of products, marketing and sales materials, brand identity, and other features. You show a strong command of design skills such as visual design, user interface design, and user experience design principles.
You will be pivotal in helping to shape the design culture of Lazarus, bringing a refined eye for detail, and a focus on craft. You have strong communication skills and can function at a high level under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to definition and development of a cohesive visual identity for Lazarus AI and build high-impact projects that drive growth in the AI industry.
- Own and execute on design projects to a high level of craft and finish as a key member of our design team.
- Create marketing material, presentations, diagrams, and additional visualizations and media that effectively communicate our foundation models and software products.
- Participate in group critiques and maintain high standards of efficiency.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication of design projects, updates, and strategy.
- Collaborate with the production team to define the production process.
- Stay educated on cutting-edge machine learning and their applications as it applies to Lazarus and design.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in design with a strong portfolio demonstrating past work.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides.
- Interaction and product design skills with a strong command of design fundamentals.
- Experience mentoring a team of creative professionals.
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies is a plus.

Our form extractor pulls entities, tables, and key value pairs from documents without example forms or training. Recognizing both handwritten and typed text, Lazarus Forms extracts more data and requires even less human intervention. We streamline data intake and transfer processes associated with various types of documents; claims forms, new patient intake, attending physician statements, adjuster reports, lab results, ACORDs, and anything that can fit in a PDF.
