Meter's mission and long term ambition
Meter builds better internet infrastructure. We make it exceptionally easy for any business to have great computer networking, internet, and Wi-Fi. Businesses of all sizes and industries increasingly rely on internet infrastructure for daily operations, yet getting connected today is incredibly difficult. To solve this problem, Meter builds and manages a vertically integrated solution across hardware, software, and operations. We believe people who build hardware and software should be the ones responsible for it. Our ambition is to evolve internet infrastructure into a utility.
This role is critical to Meter's success
We're looking for a designer who can create their ideas. Someone who cares about quality and details by default — and evolves them based on the impact of their work.
In this role, you will work closest with Meter's sales and marketing teams. You will craft designs that represent Meter’s vertically integrated platform across hardware, software, and operations. The opportunity to work in both the physical and virtual world is a unique element of this work.
You have favorite hardware, software, and operational components yourself. Your design taste, ingenuity, craft, and speed are things you take pride in and hone through consistent practice.
You likely have reverted back and forth between the new and old Figma UI. You have experimented with 3D and web.
This role is based out of our San Francisco HQ office.
You will have an impact by
- Creating designs that get used and seen on day one, from single-use presentations to ads to large conferences
- Bringing your proficiency in tools to accelerate efforts across sales and marketing, and the entire company
- Contributing to Meter's brand and design system
- Continually improving and pushing the quality bar for design across everything you touch

Compensation
We think about Meter's compensation package as a combination of salary, equity, benefits, and the experience of working with a talented team to make the biggest impact of your career.
- The estimated pay range for this role is $75,000 - $120,000.
- Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan.
The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the Bay Area. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors such as your skills, qualifications and experience.
