The Digital Systems Enablement (DSE) Supervisor works with the Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Supervisors, Engineering, Excellerate, Field Operations, and Constructability Managers to create, define, and refine Autodesk usage and utilization as well as add-in products. Areas of focus will be VDC Modeling and engineering project execution processes, assemblies derived from those tools as well as the required drawings and documents to Field Operations. This position gathers feedback from projects in-flight to continually identify process constraints. This position is also responsible for creating & maintaining platforms for resource utilization reporting, projections, training, and assists with the hiring process. The Technical Services Group Manager works with the VDC Supervisors and Constructability Managers to create, define, and refine VDC project execution processes. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: Ten years related experience in electrical contracting MEP coordination

Travel: 20-50%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Helps define new processes and procedures for FTI teams VDC to operate in more efficient environment across the organization using Autodesk and Autodesk add-on products.. Primary tools are:
    • AEC Collection (Revit, Navisworks)
    • PD&M Collection (Inventor, Vault)
    • Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Build & BIM 360
  • Identifies process constraints and makes recommendations to solve and proposes improvements and solutions. helps to define corrective action.
  • Captures new processes and communicates with the rest of the organization.
  • Maintains a list of tools and functionality to help establish development priorities.
  • Establishes a process feedback loop and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Facilitates communication of process improvement throughout the organization.
  • Supports VDC and Engineering resource utilization tools for resource and cost projects.
  • Assists with the creation and management of families, blocks, parts, and the needed parameters library creation and method for efficient utilization of the correct families entities for the correct project.
  • Assists teams in the utilization of Autodesk Construction Cloud and BIM 360 including Autodesk tools operating on these platforms such as Build.
  • Interviews and hires new resources and additional resources as needed..
  • Establishes relationship and partners with contract resources for potential work support.
  • Establishes VDC Autodesk and add on tool training strategies for new resources added resources.
  • Supports software implementation and maintenance.
  • Maintains QA/QC process for deliverables.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
