Location: Hybrid (based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania)
Internship Period: 21st July – 26th September 2025
Schedule: Full-time (8 hrs/day, Monday to Friday)

Essential Criteria:  

• Proficiency in English is required, as the internship involves communication and collaboration in English

• Candidates must be based in Cluj-Napoca or able to relocate and work from Cluj-Napoca for the duration of the internship

• The hybrid setup includes at least one in-office day per week, with additional in-office time for onboarding, training, or team collaboration.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a motivated and curious DesignOps Intern who’s excited about the intersection of design, technology, and operations. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in end-to-end design processes and optimization, all while contributing to meaningful, real-world projects.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Design, UX/UI, Service Design, Business Process Management, Project Management, Programme Management, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

• Genuine interest in workflow automation, design tools, process management, and improving efficiency.

• Quick learner who’s always eager to explore new technologies and methodologies.

• Organized, with strong attention to detail.

• Interest in AI and its potential to transform design processes.

• Comfortable working with tools like Coda or Jira, or willing to learn.

• Organized, with strong attention to detail.

• A growth mindset and a ‘can-do” attitude, ready to tackle new challenges.

• Able to work effectively in a globally distributed environment, comfortable working in English (written and verbal), and available full-time for the internship duration.

Bonus Points: (not mandatory)

• Basic knowledge of Figma, Miro, or other design collaboration platforms.

• Interest or experience in digital product design, user research, digital Accessibility (WCAG)

• Interest in AI/ML and basic familiarity with Python for automation or data analysis.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a DesignOps Intern, you’ll be at the heart of our design operations, collaborating closely with Design, Product, and Engineering teams to refine and optimize workflows. You will:

• Manage and streamline design processes to keep projects on track and teams aligned.

• Support the design team’s prioritization and help define the design roadmap.

• Document and implement best practices to ensure smooth collaboration.

• Explore and integrate AI tools to automate routine tasks and encourage innovation.

• Maintain design documentation, templates, and guidelines for consistency and clarity.

• Facilitate communication between designers, engineers, and product managers to ensure alignment.

• Coordinate with vendors and manage tools to ensure seamless integration of design-related resources.

• Utilize Coda and Jira to track tasks, organize workflows, and drive process improvements.
