The Design Lead will play a key role in developing visual concepts and assets for new retail store openings aligning to Knix branding and supporting marketing digital platforms. This will be a 2 month contract for up to 40 hours per week.

  • You have a deep understanding of retail trends, audience behavior, and the power of creative storytelling.
  • You're skilled in both art direction and copywriting, capable of bringing ideas to life in a retail environment.
  • You're a strong conceptual thinker with a natural talent for visual storytelling.
  • You stay up to date with cultural, lifestyle, and fashion trends that influence Knix’s marketing strategy.

The Opportunity

  • Design and refine a comprehensive design toolkit to ensure brand consistency and adaptability across various retail environments.
  • Create 360-degree marketing assets, including digital, print, and in-store materials, to drive awareness and engagement for store launches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align visual concepts with overall marketing strategies, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Provide creative direction and design expertise to bring innovative, on-brand ideas to life, supporting the successful execution of store opening campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on creative campaign development and brand storytelling.
  • 5+ years of experience specifically in retail creative development.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Proven success in launching 360 campaigns, including retail.
  • A portfolio showcasing diverse campaigns, copywriting, innovative concepts, and impactful results.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative ideas effectively to internal teams and clients.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills to address design and copy challenges.
