The R&D department is looking for a Design Engineer in Monza site

What about the job
In your role you will:
- Use computer‐aided drafting (CAD), Auto Cad, Inventor, etc. to develop P&ID, layouts, drawings, and design in 2D and 3D;
- Coordinate of 3D works and drawings with other functions;
- Draft of P&ID, layout and detail drawings for projects, based on the process engineer requirements and on the specific project adaptations;
- Prepare of skid lifting drawing / C.O.G. calculation, 2D drawings and 3D modeling to support product development and continued maintenance of portfolio;
- Create design (drawings, details, calculation, FEA). Plan, execute and follow up drawings based on contract/technical review;
- Perform simple system design tasks (pipe sizing, etc.);
- Develop and maintain good standard solutions (standardization) together with BU;
- Ensure industry and quality standards are met;
- Support product development and members in projects;
- Implement and maintain data in PLM/PDM and provide inputs and material for Product Documentation;
- Develop, setup, maintain and update design drawing database & tools for usage by the team;
- Coordinate the planning of own design activities;
- Support Order handlers, Sales engineers, Project managers, Engineers, Workshop and Buyers upon request;
- Be required to participate in various project teams, which can be cross functional.
What you know
- Engineer will be an asset;
- Knowledge of piping components (tee, elbow, threaded, components, etc.) and related design codes (ASME);
- Knowledge of machining and welding of piping components and carpentry;
- Experience in designing industrial skids with piping, supports, pumps, pressure vessels, equipment and carpentry and related sizing for workshop realization;
- Understand the basics in separation and fuel conditioning process on board vessels;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft® Windows environments and Office package (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams).
