Currently seeking a Design Engineer to join our Hobby Airport location

This exiting role is for a Design engineer dedicated to the API Vertical suspended pumps product line.

Responsibilities of the Design Engineer include, but are not limited to:

• Creates, updates, and maintains drawings and 3D models in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Inputs and maintains BOMs/Part numbers
• Completes Engineering Change Notice Requests (ECN/ECRs)
• Help to establish engineering standard practices and processes
• Checks drawings and approves designs
• 2 to 5 years in in mechanical design

Qualifications of the Mechanical Engineering Intern include, but are not limited to:

• 2 to 5 years' experience in rotating equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks is required
• Proficiency with AutoCAD preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is required
• Manufacturing Engineering background is a plus

Shift Time/Overtime: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

Education: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree, or a related field preferred
