This role will work with the broader enterprise to coordinate internal teams, service clients, and deliver projects across the full project lifecycle. These projects are anticipated to have a broad focus across multiple sectors and contribute to the continued development of infrastructure in Papua New Guinea.

Key responsibilities

  • Undertaking design and preparing documentation for a wide range of projects.
  • Multidisciplinary coordination of projects.
  • Supervision of others and review of their outputs
  • Leading and overseeing the work of project teams to achieve project milestones and objectives. includes allocating tasks, ensuring compliance, setting priorities, reprioritizing as required, and coordinating and supervising the daily activities of project teams.
  • Contributing to the development of KA’s knowledge and skills in design and engineering, including planning, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and demolition.
  • Effectively communicating with stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Leveraging background and contacts to develop business and contribute to winning work.
  • Development of tender responses that contribute to winning work.

Education Requirement

  • Formal qualifications in Civil Engineering (BEng or equivalent acceptable to IEAust).

Experience

  • 10+ Years’ experience in infrastructure projects, specifically engineering/design management.
  • Construction and commissioning experience is desirable.
  • Proven experience in coordinating multiple disciplines.
  • Experience in solving technical problems such as verification.
  • Experience in liaison with clients and regulators.
  • Experience in civil engineering, structural engineering services, design, and documentation.
  • Experience in business development.
