Job Details:
Job Description: In this position, you are entrusted to work directly with design engineers and automation engineers to build software capabilities to automate the build and verification of structural/physical design database. The software and infrastructure are needed to enable the engineers to design high speed IP and test chip using leading edge Intel process technologies. You will work on state-of-the-art CAD tools, develop flows and methodologies and make recommendations to the project teams. This position requires candidates who has strong knowledge in flow and methodology development, database management (for various design milestones and different projects), compute and storage resource allocation and optimization. Requires the ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
The responsibilities will be tailored to the candidate's skills and expertise and will include several of the following, but not be limited to:
- Engage with the project design teams to develop and support various CAD tools and flows for front end design, physical design and verification
- Develop automation to improve productivity and faster time to market
- Excellent written and spoken communications skills
- Ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals across different Geographical locations.
- Attention to details, strong data analysis and problem solving skills
- Tracking of issues, documentation of flow/cheatsheet, plan out execution tasks
- Knowledge in front end/physical design and/or sign off flow (such as extraction and static timing analysis) will be a plus.

Qualifications:You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Must have a BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent qualification.
-Minimum 1 years of experience with scripting/programming languages (C++/Python/Java)
-Minimum 1 years of experience in UNIX, including Shell programming
-Minimum 1 years of experience in distributed version control system (such as Git)
-Coursework in Data Structures and Algorithms and/or Graph Theory
Preferred qualifications:
-1+ years of combined experience in the above skill sets
-Knowledge in one or more of the following areas will be a plus factor - VLSI design, Physical design automation or EDA tools.
-Experience with industry tools such as Jira.
