Role Description: We are seeking a Deposit Operations Specialist I to join our team. This role supports deposit operations by performing routine reviews, maintaining accurate account records, assisting with routine reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures. With a foundational understanding of basic deposit operations, this role will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth, day-to-day processes. 


The ideal candidate will be detailed-oriented and proactive in their approach to routine problem-solving and comfortable managing multiple tasks at once. 

In this role you will:

  • Maintain data accuracy and operational efficiency across deposit operations functions 
  • Perform routine account, transaction, and hold reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures 
  • Perform routine account maintenance, ensuring consistent data integrity for internal and regulatory needs 
  • Assist with preparing documentation for internal and external audit processes and legal requests 
  • Index and archive documents to ensure accurate record-keeping, easy retrieval, and compliance
  • Address operational issues by following established procedures and collaborating with internal teams for resolution
  • Prepare and maintain basic internal reports to support operational needs and ensure stakeholders have accurate, up-to-date information
  • Coordinate with internal teams to track, report, and resolve operational issues, driving continuous improvement in processes and documentation
  • Assist with the update and implementation of policies and procedures in response to regulatory or operational changes 
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Deposit/Retail Banking experience
