Deployment Engineer //
1.1General Characteristics
This position performs technical service and support day-to day business on Dedalus and 3rd party products to customers and internal staff. Focus on direct customer contact / escalations.
1.2Representative activities
- Perform preventive/corrective maintenance on equipment in 1st line support (A)
- Assist internal and external customers (e.g. user, freelancer, colleagues from all business areas, HQ etc.) on-site and remotely on technical questions and issues (A)
- Escalate when necessary, problems to 2nd line support (A)
- Perform technical training for internal and external customers. (A)
- Escalate when necessary, problems to 3rd tier support (SA)
- Assist in customer projects on technical tasks (SA)
- Handle 2nd line support (SA)
- Identify opportunity for up-selling Dedalus Services and Products and pass on up-selling opportunities to sales as required (SA)
- Install and modify Dedalus and 3rd party products (SA)
- Troubleshoot Dedalus and 3rd party products, also repair and replace on-site and remotely (SA)
- Take ownership in customer projects on technical tasks (S)
- Perform technical installations (S)
- Assist R&D and HQ in problem solving and risk analysis (S)
1.3Principal accountabilities
- Accountability for timely handling of issues, according to Dedalus best practice procedures
- Accountability for the appliance of best practice processes and procedures
- Accountability for customer satisfaction on project implementation and issue handling
- Accountability for being knowledgeable and up-to-date on latest Dedalus products & solutions
- Accountability for communication on required features
- Accountability for meeting customer requirements within the scope of the SLA
- Accountability for communicating required functions, competitive functions, products and market tendencies in order to develop Dedalus products
