About the Role 🤔

The Junior Demand & Supply Planner plays a crucial role in supporting the monthly demand and supply planning process ensuring optimal stock levels across Quad Lock's supply chain. Working closely with the Senior Demand Planner, the Demand & Supply Planner assists in developing short, medium, and long-term forecasts to meet sales goals and supply chain objectives.

The Demand & Supply Planner will also manage OEM orders and B2B alignment to maximise sales without compromising DTC availability. The role requires proficiency in Logility, Netsuite, strong analytical skills, and effective cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Do 🚚

• Inventory Management: Execute supply plans in Logility, create purchase orders in Netsuite, and ensure inventory levels meet market demand while minimising airfreight and optimising stock levels.
• Exception Management: Daily review of exception management data/reports from Logility determining whether action is required.
• Backorder Management: Maintain the backorder board, ensuring visibility of low inventory and coordinating replenishment to avoid any Shopify platform or marketplace running OOS.
• B2B Order Review: Analyse B2B orders and share recommendations with the Senior Demand Planner to optimise sales without compromising DTC stock availability.
• Data Management: Update ERP and Logility with accurate data and forecasts for SKUs, lead times, and other supply planning metrics.
• Supplier Collaboration: Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and address any delays.
• Internal Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop strategies for managing SKUs with high weeks of cover, slow-moving products, and discontinued items.
• Order Management: Process and track purchase orders, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of order status and changes.
• Performance Monitoring: Track supply planning KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with logistics, sales, and other teams to ensure smooth stock flow from factories to distribution centers. Collaborate with sales and marketing to implement strategies to manage SKUs with high weeks cover, slow moving product, and any deranged product.

What You'll Bring 🤝

• Experience: Proven experience in demand and/or supply planning within a retail or wholesale environment, ideally with global exposure.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on root cause analysis.
• Forecasting & Planning: Solid understanding of demand forecasting and supply planning processes.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel/G-Suite, with experience in Supply Chain Planning Systems (Logility) & Enterprise Resourcing Planning Systems (NetSuite), preferred.
• Report Writing & Analysis: Ability to create and analyse inventory reports in Logility and Excel, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaboration: A genuine team player, skilled at working together with diverse stakeholders.
• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with Quad Lock's product range and customer base.
• Qualifications: Tertiary education in business management, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
