Demand Planning Supply Chain Intern

The Demand Planning Supply Chain Intern will have the opportunity to be part of key activities to progress their career, in the following main functions:

• Create baseline forecast models to support the monthly consensus forecast process.
• Develop existing technical and IT capability to support baseline statistical modeling and integration of existing forecast platforms across the business to deliver enhanced forecast accuracy.          
• Analyze forecast exceptions and data integrity reports utilizing BI reporting tools and Excel.           
• Record all the Stochastic/rare/commercial events in the history in order to understand forecasting trends and patterns.      
• Execute in collaboration with sales team on history adjustments to drive robust statistical forecasts.
• Internal measurement and reporting of demand forecasting KPIs to drive improvements in forecast accuracy and bias, working capital and customer service.   
• Responsible for data integrity, ensuring that the weekly/monthly forecast sent to Supply is applied to the correct sku and location.             
• Maintain APO (SAP system) master data, including SKU creation.
• Determine, document, and maintain all statistical parameters used to drive a Baseline ‘best fit’ model.
• Generate PSRs and Global Material Extensions for each location and channel, ensure process is completed on time.

Your qualifications:

• Active student of a Supply Chain related discipline, Logistics, or Data Analytics Related, Statistical Science, Data Science, or related careers.
• Basic - Intermediate level of English
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis functions, macro, power query, etc.).
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools.
• Power BI knowledge is a plus.
• Enthusiastic in complex information analysis, reporting and scorecards, analysis tools.
• Strong analytical skills, with critical thinking.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strict attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to coordinate cross functional teams.
