Join Our Team as a Demand Planner!
Are you passionate about analyzing historical demand, filtering out outliers, and identifying the best statistical forecasting algorithms? We are looking for a dedicated Demand Planner to enrich our base statistical forecasts with accurate and timely market intelligence data. You will execute the local S&OP process, facilitate monthly Demand Review Meetings, and act as the local interface to the central demand planning hub within the framework of global demand planning processes.
Your role will also involve generating new product forecasts using historical substitution and scenario planning techniques agreed with Marketing and Category Management. Understanding customer buying patterns and effectively communicating with and engaging customers on operational issues are key aspects of this role.
Additionally, you will develop, maintain, and improve demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and statistical models. Familiar with ERP and forecasting tools (SAP, APO) for demand planning activities. Analyse forecast accuracy and demand patterns to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts. .
