Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a 12-month rolling forecast at the SKU & channel level.
  • Develop and implement demand planning strategies and best practices across the organization.
  • Adopt a culture of data-driven decision making.
  • Incorporate market trends, promotional activities, seasonal fluctuations, and economic factors into forecasts.
  • Conduct bi-monthly forecast reviews with sales, marketing, and finance teams to achieve consensus on demand expectations & financial targets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning accuracy, inventory levels, slow moving inventory, SKU Tiers, safety stock & inventory turns.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate demand insights to senior leadership.
  • Implement new tools and technologies to enhance forecasting capabilities and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and streamline data collection.
  • Strategically partner with cross-functional leaders on key distribution, sourcing projects, compliance and sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to provide insights on warehouse stocking strategies and respective controls.
  • Determine root causes of performance variances and lead the resolution process.
  • Track KPIs to address issues/gaps including constructive challenging of the sales and operations teams as needed to drive accountability.
  • Create monthly reporting to review with leadership on SKU performance, monthly purchase amounts, under/over selling product, and identify trends.
