Job Purpose:

The Kitting Demand Planner will assist in all demand planning activities within the Co-Packing facilities in Dallas, TX. Their responsibility will be estimating future product demand for specific customers, analyze inventory flow, develop forecast and assembly production models while ensuring the company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective.

Job Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with Sales to gather sales forecasts, historical data, and market insights to analyze align for new items, customers and forecast usage change requests.
● Utilize demand planning tools to analyze data and generate accurate demand forecasts.
● Follow inventory strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize shortages, and reduce excess inventory.
● Monitor and evaluate market trends, seasonality, and promotional activities to inform demand POV.
● Analyze and identify potential risks and opportunities related to demand and inventory, proposing appropriate actions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
● Contribute to the continuous improvement of demand planning processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
● Prepare month end results scorecard for demand planning performance and present to internal stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

Oversees scheduling and workload distribution across multiple warehouses to ensure timely production and on-time order fulfillment
● Knowledge of advanced planning systems - Nulogy experience preferred.
● Work closely with local Warehouse Ops, Account Management and Kitting Program Specialists to balance capacity and existing warehouse schedule constraints and customer requirements.

●Issue warehouse pick lists for work orders to move inventory to production lines.
● Complete a validation analysis of inventory to production lines.
● Forecast labor and communicate directly with Ops and Contractors on assignment performance.

●Conduct quarterly and seasonal analysis on projects across top clients to assess overall supply chain performance.

● Bilingual in Spanish & English preferred.

Work Experience:

● 1-3 years of related job experience.● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Knowledge of major ERP (enterprise resource planning) software applications such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Education:

● Bachelor's Degree

  • Works at Co Packing locations in both non-climate controlled warehouse environments as well as office settings
  • Works in a fast paced environment
  • Exposure to moving machinery, loud noise, dust, mechanical hazards, varying temperature and office atmosphere
