We are seeking a skilled Deal Desk Manager to play a strategic role in supporting our Sales team at Entrata. In this vital position, you will be responsible for facilitating deals that align with the mutual interests of Entrata and our valued clients. Your key responsibilities will include managing deal approvals, offering expert guidance on deal structures and pricing models, and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards to safeguard revenue integrity. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of internal systems and processes, allowing for the seamless execution of deals that drive business growth and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to structure and validate deal proposals.
- Provide guidance on utilizing and optimizing quoting tools, particularly CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) software.
- Manage approval requests with precision and efficiency, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Partner with Sales Operations to develop and deliver training materials to educate sales teams on deal desk processes and best practices.
- Support the renewal process for existing clients, ensuring seamless transitions and maximizing retention rates.
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to deliver optimal outcomes.
- Analyze deal metrics and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and revenue optimization.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to deal desk procedures, guidelines, and best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert on deal desk processes and tools, providing training and support to internal stakeholders as needed.
- Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed to enhance deal desk operations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that may impact deal structures and approvals..
- Understand product pricing and billing models and the related revenue generated from each.
- Act as a Sales-facing subject matter expert on deal structuring, processes, and policies.
- Drive operational consistency by being a CPQ power user.
- Clarify, educate, and gather feedback from the sales team regarding policies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in deal desk management, sales operations, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.
- Familiarity with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools and processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the software industry, preferably with knowledge of property management software.
- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in deal desk management and sales operations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self Starter, sound decision-making skills, and a strong focus on attention to detail.
