Principal Coordinator, Reconciliation & Control (Work from Home)
The Reconciliation and Control Team is responsible for monitoring General Ledger health and exceptions across Retail Bank including Branch, ATM, Vault and Back Office.
Role Responsibilities:

• Reconcile General Ledger activity for both general and complex reconciliations within assigned scope including maintaining GL health
• Develop Subject Matter Expertise within role
• Process money movement with accuracy and appropriate support documentation
• Monitor correspondence and respond timely
• Report General Ledger exceptions to partner LOB's as needed
• Contribute to decks/reporting, process documentation and projects as required per leadership
• Identify issues, trends and recommend automation/process improvements
• Escalate issues appropriately and work with partner teams to resolve
• Active participant in Team Meetings, Weekly Stand Ups and Partner Meetings
• Maintain a risk and controls focus
• Other duties as assigned

Work from Home Technology Requirements:

• A secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions
• A reliable private internet connection that is not supplied via cellular data or hotspot
  
  • A private network that is password protected where you have ownership or line of sight to every device on the network
  • Internet service must be provided by Cable or fiber Internet Service Provides (ISP)
  • Hotspots and satellite services are prohibited and do not meet performance criteria required for optimal agent/customer interactions
  • ISP download speeds on VPN must be at least 5Mbps, with 10+ Mbps preferred
  • To validate ISP speeds from a Chrome browser, go to www.google.com , type Speed Test and run from the Google landing page
• Both Hardwire and WiFI internet connections are acceptable as long as speed and security requirements are met

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification
• At least 1 year of banking experience
• At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office or Google Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting or financial reporting experience
• 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office or Google Suite
• 2+ years of experience in ATM, Cash Management, and logistics

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Remote (Regardless of Location): $56,800 - $64,800 for Principal Ops Prod Coor
Richmond, VA: $56,800 - $64,800 for Principal Ops Prod Coor
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
