As a DBA/DevOps, you will directly impact the quality of the software we produce, dealing with challenges of complex architecture of a 99.9% uptime system that drives huge traffic. We currently have 10+ Data Centers across the world, with hundreds of database servers and thousands of databases. We are proud to say that we handle 1 billion transactions daily and around 10TB of data on a monthly basis.
What Will You Get To Do?
Since we are growing in every aspect we are facing a challenge to effectively maintain a large number of products and their databases. To ensure that everything runs smoothly the role of a DBA/DevOps is crucial.
As a DBA/DevOps at our company, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, developing, and optimizing database structures to ensure high performance and reliability. You will proactively monitor database performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and collaborate with team members to enhance overall database functionality.
Your role will involve implementing best practices in database systems deploying and maintaining, including data management and security, suggesting and implementing improvements to database system design, and ensuring that our databases meet the evolving needs of the business.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of relational database design and deployment
- Experience with Linux server administration
- Expirience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and containerisation technologies
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization best practices
- Experience with source code management (Git), automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins) and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, Go language)
- Experience with SQL Server and Oracle administration
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of database performance tuning and query optimization
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with ClickHouse, Cassandra and ScyllaDB database deployment and administration
- Knowledge and understanding of NoSQL, non-relational database design and deployment
- Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL database deployment and administration
- Experience with big data systems, high-traffic, and large-scale systems is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools (e.g.,Prometheus, Grafana)
- Open to DevOps automation practices (Testing / Developing environments)
- Cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
- Experience with Windows server administration
- Curious and willing to learn, adopt or propose new technologies, proactive and love to work in a team
