Job Description
We are seeking a Database Analyst to create and manage KPIs/Metrics, supporting the Team with migrations, report development, and collaborating with different teams for database support. This position is full-time, 6- month contract (possible extensions), and on-site.
What You’ll Do

Responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining KPIs/Metrics

Supports the team with:

Report generation

Creation of new alerts
-
Database migrations
-
Vendor build deployments
-
Hardware replacements
-
SQL distributor maintenance
-
Roadside replication support
-

Collaborates with monitoring operation center and team members for:

Third-party patching oversight
-
Deep-dive data analysis
-
Power BI report development
-
Database support across multiple platforms and environments
-

Analyze data requirements, application and processing architectures, data dictionaries, and database schema(s)

Design, develop, amend, and optimize systems to meet requirements

Gather, analyze, and normalize information related to business processes to evaluate data credibility and relevance
What You’ll Need
-
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
-
5 years of IT work experience in DBA, SQL Procedural code and design, and relevant computing environments
-
Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language (PLSQL) and Microsoft SQL (Transact-SQL)
-
Intermediate professional level role; supports team functions with medium to high complexity

Works on several projects and may serve as a project leader

Potentially coaches junior technical staff

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
