Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases. Your typical day will involve performing various database functions, designing and implementing new databases, and ensuring backup/recovery and configuration management.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Design and implement new databases.
- Perform database administration tasks.
- Ensure data backup and recovery procedures.
- Manage database configuration.
- Provide input for modification of procedures and documentation.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration
- Strong understanding of database management systems.
- Experience in database design and implementation.
- Knowledge of data backup and recovery procedures.
- Proficiency in database configuration management.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration.
- This position is based at our Manila office.
