Fam is India's first payments app for everyone above 11. FamApp helps make online and offline payments through UPI and FamCard. We are on a mission to raise a new, financially aware generation, and drive 250 million+ youngest users in India to kickstart their financial journey super early in their life.

About this Role:
We’re looking for a Data Scientist who’s part detective, part storyteller, and 100% driven by data. In this role, you’ll explore complex datasets, build smart models, and turn insights into impact. From forecasting trends to uncovering growth opportunities, your work will guide key decisions across the business. If you love turning numbers into narratives and solving real-world problems with data, we’d love to have you on the team.
On the Job
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business growth and enhance user experience.
- Develop, implement, and maintain machine learning models to predict user behaviour, assess risk, and optimize financial products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and marketing, to integrate data-driven strategies into business processes.
Must-haves (Min. qualifications)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience with data mining, statistical modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Good to have
- Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services industry.
- Exposure to deep learning, NLP, or reinforcement learning techniques.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data tools like BigQuery, Redshift, clickhouse etc.
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts (ETL pipelines, data lakes, etc.).
- Contributions to open-source projects or active involvement in the data science community.
