Position Overview
We are seeking a Data Scientist to design and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms that solve business challenges and drive innovation. You will work with large datasets, leveraging advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to identify patterns and opportunities. This role requires technical expertise and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support product, marketing, and operations initiatives.
- Perform advanced statistical analyses to identify patterns and optimize decision-making.
- Work with large, unstructured datasets to uncover actionable insights.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy data-driven solutions into production.
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
- Stay updated on the latest AI/ML techniques and evaluate their application to Dorsia’s challenges.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in a data science role.
- Proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling and machine learning.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for working with structured data.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cloud environments like AWS or GCP.
- Knowledge of deep learning techniques and their applications.
- Understanding of customer segmentation and personalization
