Note: For our clients whom we provide consultancy services to, this job posting covers multiple roles, and we are hiring for more than one position

Key Responsibilities

• Designing new analytical models and improving existing models
• Working with time-series data and developing advanced forecasting models
• Implementing strategies to handle imbalanced datasets (resampling, SMOTE, class weighting, etc.)
• Utilizing popular boosting techniques such as XGBoost, LightGBM
• Enhancing model performance using hyperparameter optimization techniques (Grid Search, Random Search, Bayesian Optimization)
• Conducting data analysis and preprocessing using SQL on large-scale datasets
• Managing and analyzing data on GCP BigQuery
• Developing models, forecasting, and automating processes on the Dataiku platform
• Visualizing results using BI tools such as Looker and Grafana
• Integrating AI and GenAI solutions (Copilot Studio, OpenAI Studio, etc.)
• Managing end-to-end data science projects and deploying models into production in collaboration with integration engineers

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• 5 to 9 years of professional work experience as an AI Engineer / Data Scientist or equivalent
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in Jupyter Lab, Airflow, Kubernetes (Openshift), and Git (BitBucket)
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling, supervised and unsupervised learning techniques, feature engineering, and advanced ML techniques such as boosting methods (XGBoost, LightGBM)
• Experience in working with time-series forecasting methods, including ARIMA, Prophet, and deep learning-based forecasting models
• Hands-on experience with GCP BigQuery, cloud-based ML solutions, and distributed data processing
• Strong understanding of Dataiku for model development, deployment, and automation
• Proficiency in Looker, Grafana, or similar visualization tools to effectively communicate findings
• Knowledge of hyperparameter tuning techniques, automation pipelines, and integrating ML models into production environments
• Ability to break down complex business problems into structured analytical tasks and deliver data-driven solutions
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, business intelligence, and operations teams
• Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and experience with tools such as Copilot Studio, OpenAI Studio is a plus
