Summary of This Role

***This role requires being in our Georgia office 2 days per week***

Deploys data-driven exploratory analysis as well as predictive models to solve business problems across financial services industry, particularly in the area of Originations, Risk and Fraud, Digital engagement, Payments and Customer Management. Designs and analyzes experiments to test new product ideas and convert the results into actionable product recommendations. Leads Analytics Model development, validation and maintenance. Assists with data collection, cleaning, visualization, model building, training, testing, and presentations to build analytics capability and drive efficiencies in business areas across Global Payments.

Job Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs exploratory data analysis across a wide range of datasets with higher levels of heterogeneity and size and/or with complex entity relationships

• Uses a combination of established design work and a synthesis of other experimental features to train and implement machine learning models in a production instance as well as coding scripts necessary for implementation

• Establishes domain expertise in a core issuing business and serves as a liaison to ensure model and features conform to expectations of that domain

• Interacts with internal and external clients on established projects to communicate progress and result’s – assists in crafting visualizations and story’s for new projects or to close out existing ones

• Explores and evaluates new services and applications for integrations into existing and new data science platforms across the issuing enterprise

• Performs QA and testing as necessary to support larger data science endeavours 

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree - Quantitative Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or similar discipline

• Typically Minimum 0-2 Years Relevant Exp

• Demonstrated experience with sophisticated analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Python, SQL, HiveQL, Spark, Hadoop)

  Proficiency with visualization platforms such as Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI, or JavaScript

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer experience with Product Analytics

• Master's Degree - Quantitative Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or similar discipline

Pay Range is $95,000 - $110,000.00

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
