Job Description
Role Summary:
We're currently looking for a Data and Reporting Lead to join the Global Finance Services Team based in Cyberjaya and report to Risk and Control Lead.
This is a high-profile role with Executive level exposure, it requires a good understanding of key financial drivers, planning & reporting and producing analysis to be used at an Executive level to directly influence the direction of the business. We are looking for someone who not only has the capability to meet technical requirements but also displays the behaviors needed to interact with stakeholders across countries and cultures.
About The Role:
- Lead on delivery of all financial reporting requirements following Group and Regional team requirements
- Be a support for data driven risk and controls activities across the region and markets
- Work with the Risk and Controls Lead plus Regional Controllership on regional improvement projects and other adhoc workstreams
- Work with Market Financial Controllers to support their ongoing data and reporting needs. Use data to assist with market based processes including impairment review and recapitalisation considerations
- Coordinate end to end process for delivery of Monthly Regional Financial Reporting including: Preparation and approval of monthly cashflow and capex reporting; quarterly balance sheet reporting to group; half year and year end disclosures; preparation and submission of annual cash flow and capex budgets
- Support on the creation of the monthly KPI pack and the ongoing work to automate/improve the process. Own the monthly Regional Balance Sheet commentary and Analysis as part of this.
- Improve the creation of and content of the Market and Regional Balance Sheet Review packs.
- Operate key Revenue assurance controls
- Lead the process for the collation and reporting of group policies compliance assessments
- Perform several adhoc and monthly approval processes
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Atleast 5+ years' relevant experience in controllership and a qualified accountant with ACCA/CPA/CA/CIMA qualification
- Experience in financial reporting, including dealing with stakeholders in different global locations
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders remotely
- Ability to present ideas and opinions in a collaborative, credible and influential manner
- A continuous improvement mindset and experience in process improvement will be an added advantage
