We’re looking for a Data Reliability Lead to join our Data Collection group in Prague. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll ensure the accuracy and reliability of our data collection processes across mobile and desktop devices. As one of the most trusted platforms for measuring online behavior, millions of users rely on Similarweb’s insights every day. The quality and accuracy of our data directly impact the insights we provide to our customers. As a Data Reliability Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our data, ensuring it’s collected, processed, and managed with precision.
What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day:
- Investigate data: Launch investigations into mobile and desktop data to build and refine data collection configurations.
- Write transformation logic: Use your Python skills to write data transformation logic for the data collected.
- Monitor data quality: Keep an eye on the data being collected to ensure it’s accurate and reliable. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise.
- Build tools: Develop and maintain tools that make data configuration faster and more efficient.
- Own configuration management: Take full ownership of the configuration management process from start to finish, using best practices focused on quality and delivery.
- Review and improve: Continuously evaluate and improve data processes, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- 1+ years of experience leading teams.
- At least 2 year of Python scripting experience – must. 🐍
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis – must. 💻
- A true team player with great leadership skills and a passion for problem-solving.
- Experience with Hadoop, Spark, AWS infrastructure – a big plus! 🌐
- Knowledge of HTML is a bonus. 💡
