Join the leading global financial services firm, JPMorgan Chase & Co., in a transformative role within the Digital & Platform Services - Markets Operations Analytics and reporting organization. This position offers the opportunity to develop interactive dashboards, analyze data across various business lines, and generate impactful insights using innovative software. You'll work closely with operations leadership and senior management, supporting MIS reporting for Securities Operations Controls and other areas. The role also involves planning, testing, and implementing reports/dashboards. Strong analytical skills, time management, and stakeholder relationship building are key to success in this role.
As a Data Operations Analyst within the Digital & Platform Services (DPS) - Markets Operations Analytics and reporting organization, you will be leading a transformation of how to report and analyze information/data across all markets ops. businesses and functions. You will be responsible for supporting MIS reporting for Securities Operations Controls and other operations areas. Your role will also encompass planning and execution of work inclusive of design, test execution, and implementation of reports/ dashboards. You will have the opportunity to leverage your strong foundational knowledge of metrics to build effective solutions that simplify, automate, and add value.
Job Responsibilities:

• Have and leverage a strong foundational knowledge of metrics to build effective solutions that simplify, automate, and add value
• Develop and utilize technical expertise in Alteryx to obtain and analyze information effectively and efficiently
• Perform Data Mining / Analysis of Trends to create and analyze large data sets with the end goal of detecting trends and making recommendations for changes based on these trends.
• Express creativity and ingenuity to transform how we see and understand data
• Work with Technology and Business teams to support dashboards that works efficiently and have strong controls
• Work with key stakeholders (including business leaders) to determine requirements for new dashboards
• Understand the variety of sources for information and how to strategically source data tracking development and deployment timelines
• Partner effectively across Operations, Controls and Business management

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:

• MIS reporting: Manage daily, weekly, monthly reporting etc. ensuring accuracy and adequate controls are maintained
• Report Development: Experience building reporting tools and dashboards. Candidate should have experience with building reports in Tableau and other BI tools
• Analytical Rigor: Candidate should be an analytical thinker with superior data analysis skills
• Critical Thinker: Should be able to quickly and objectively analyze and evaluate issues and form decisions
• Good Executive Presence: Candidate should be able to synthesize data into actionable insights and effectively communicate to all levels of management
• Attention to Detail: An acute attention to detail is required, specifically ensuring capacity plans and status reporting are accurate
• Intellectually Curious Self Starter: Must be able to operate in a self-directed manner; must have a strong desire to take the initiative to deliver superior results with urgency
• Total experience in any domain - 4+ years and Experience with managing data and generating MIS reports, Experience with Alteryx is a must
• Graduate in any discipline . Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
• Experience with data warehousing and user access, data transformation, and reporting applications/tools and alteryx.

Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities:

• Familiar with Investment Banking processes and operations controls (knowledge of operations controls E.g. critical metrics, Risk events etc.) - Good to have
• Experience in building reports in Tableau will be a plus
• Familiarity with Agile and JIRA - Good to have
• Experience in coding of Data Visualization Tools like Tableau, Qlikview, and Qliksense etc. - Good to have
