We are Seeking a Data Operations Analyst to join our growing team!

The Data Operations Analyst is responsible for ensuring efficient data operations, quality data, and execution of delivering high-quality data solutions. The role is essential for facilitating the collaboration between key stakeholder groups and the divisional Data & Analytics team. The Data Operations Analyst will be a contributor to process development, project coordination, problem-solving, and communication within the organization

How You Will Contribute

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitate project planning and execution. Ensure projects are on track and aligned with organizational objectives. Light project management duties as assigned, which could include leading planning session meetings and writing user stories.
  • : Develop Agile processes for capturing quality data at the source level; in partnership with other operational leaders, lead change efforts to implement a new or revised process within the organization, department, or team.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of annotation guidelines, data dictionaries, and version histories. Create and maintain the organization’s first business reference document that identifies unique processes that have a direct impact in how the data appears in the database.
  • Recommend improvements in data quality protocols, data capture processes, and annotation techniques. Regularly review tech debt backlog and aid in re-prioritization efforts to meet the business needs and capture correct data.
  • Develop, document, and deliver training programs to enhance data literacy among business teams, ensuring they can leverage data to make informed decisions. Lead subject matter experts through User Acceptance Testing on new data products.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and verify data mappings and key data entities.

Perform routine checks and audits to ensure data accuracy.

  • Generate regular reports on data quality metrics, annotation progress, and stakeholder feedback. Ad-hoc reporting duties as assigned.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Include ss required

Skills & Experience to Be Successful

  • Educational Background: Operations Management, Information Systems, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in an Operations, Training, or Project Management role. Within the insurance industry is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel and Microsoft Office suite products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with wholesale insurance and relevant insurance entities is a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed (up to 25%)
  • Experience in PowerBI and Azure DevOps or Jira (preferred)
  • Analytics processing in Databricks or Snowflake. (preferred)
  • Proficient in agile methodology (preferred)

Pay Range

$80,000 - $100,000 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
