We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to help us take the sales operations and analytics for our sales team to the next level. This is a unique opportunity to make a strategic impact on our business as we rapidly scale our team.

The position will be remote, with occasional travel required to team events.

 

Responsibilities

  • Use SQL, Tableau, Metabase, and Snowflake to connect and analyze data regarding the performance of our sales organization
  • Analyze and present sales forecast and pipeline data, and analyze actual performance versus forecast on a recurring basis
  • Create dashboards, reports, and leaderboards to report on sales performance and operational metrics
  • Execute customer segmentation analysis to propose priorities of focus across the sales organization
  • Proactively identify sales shortcomings/opportunities by deeply investigating the data behind sales trends
  • Tell stories with data on a regular basis to senior leaders across the company
  • Take ownership of the organization and classification of the sources of truth of data within our data warehouse environment
  • Develop and implement proposals to leverage technology to automate sales representative workflows
  • Accurately calculate sales incentive compensation plan amounts on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Execute on ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed
  • Be a team player and act like an owner at all times - give and accept feedback, collaborate with your colleagues, and seek to lift every member of your team to greatness

 

Requirements

 

  • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst, product analyst, or business analyst role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Deep knowledge of SQL and experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Looker
  • Proven out-performer and independent self-starter who is excited by ambiguity and willing to get your hands dirty
  • Demonstrated ability to uncover data-driven insights and tell stories with data
  • Collaborative with strong cross-functional communication skills
  • Prior experience in a sales operations analyst role preferred
  • Prior experience working with Salesforce preferred
  • Undergraduate degree in a math, science, or engineering field from top-tier university
