General Description
The Data Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring and managing incoming and outgoing data feeds across multiple healthcare and pharmacy systems. This role ensures data integrity, investigates discrepancies, and escalates issues to the appropriate teams while maintaining comprehensive documentation and reporting. The analyst will collaborate with internal stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be comfortable producing file layout requirements for healthcare interchange files including EHR data, pharmacy claims data, and drug reference data
Key Responsibilities

Data Management and Monitoring
-
Support continuous improvement for data interchange file requirements, including EHR, pharmacy claims and drug reference data
-
Oversee all incoming data feeds, including but not limited to:
-
Health centers’ Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)
-
Pharmacies, Switches, and Gateways
-
Wholesalers’ Pricebook Data
-
Monitor all outgoing data files such as:
-
Captured claims data
-
Patient census reports
-
NPI (National Provider Identifier) lists
-
Ensure timely and accurate execution of recurring processes, including:
-
Ordering and inventory management
-
Referrals and invoicing
-
ProCare (cash program) processing
-
Provider lists, patient records, and price book updates
-
Issue Investigation & Escalation
-
Identify, analyze, and escalate data-related issues, including:
-
Missing or incomplete data
-
Data discrepancies or incorrect data
-
Data loading and processing errors
-
File movement failures and other technical errors
-
Work closely with IT, pharmacy operations, and healthcare teams to resolve issues in a timely manner

Reporting & Documentation
-
Generate and maintain daily reports on data processes and findings

Maintain and update key operational records, including:
-
Active client and pharmacy lists with near real-time updates in Confluence
-
System and process documentation in Confluence, including new product releases or system upgrades
-
Daily manifesto of all recurring file processes, including incoming and outgoing data, findings, and status on open tickets

Correspondence & Project Support
-
Participate in email correspondence, meetings, and Teams chats to coordinate data-related activities
-
Provide ad-hoc project support as requested by leadership or stakeholders
Professional Qualities
-
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Informatics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Knowledge and experience with the 340B Drug Pricing Program
-
Experience in data management, preferably in healthcare or pharmacy settings
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
-
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and other database management tools
-
Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and pharmacy compliance standards
-
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
-
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
-
Experience with documentation and reporting tools such as Confluence and Jira
Preferred Experience

Familiarity with pharmacy data workflows
-
Experience with claims processing, NPI databases, and pharmacy price book management
-
Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and system automation
-
Familiarity working with FHIR and HL7 formats
-
Ability to work independently or with a team
Physical Requirements

Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional stooping, and reaching; May require lifting up to 25 pounds; requires normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations.
