*Short Term Project for 6 Months
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and a solid understanding of BI reporting and analytics needs, particularly in continuous manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:1. Data Modeling and Architecture
- Design and implement dimensional data models aligned with the AI Manara roadmap.
- Develop and maintain logical and physical data models adhering to best practices and BI requirements.
- Collaborate with IT/OT teams and Data Engineers to ensure optimal data design and performance.
2. Collaboration with Business Stakeholders
- Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective data structures.
- Ensure data models provide accuracy, consistency, and optimal performance for BI applications.
3. Data Engineering Support
- Work with the Data Engineering team to integrate data from multiple sources into the data warehouse.
- Ensure data is cleansed, transformed, and loaded into dimensional models for BI reporting.
4. Optimization and Quality Assurance
- Conduct regular data model tuning to enhance processing and query performance.
- Enforce standards for data modeling, including naming conventions, to maintain model integrity.
5. Documentation and Support
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, definitions, and data flows.
- Guide and support BI developers and analysts on data structure and model utilization.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- 2–5 years of experience in data modeling, with a strong focus on dimensional modeling for BI.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin, PowerDesigner).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing technologies.
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., PowerBI).
- Knowledge of the Azure Data Stack (e.g., ADLS, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks).
- Familiarity with ERP processes, particularly the SAP stack.
- Knowledge of OT Data Historians (e.g., Iba) and OT systems.
- Experience with SAP BW or SAP Datasphere.
- Understanding of ETL processes, tools, and data integration concepts.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data quality.
