SMX is seeking a Data Manager to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This position will be hybrid with time split teleworking and onsite with our government client.
As the Data Manager, you will receive and prepare contractor data and required deliverables using the SHIELD Management Information System (MIS). The Data Manager is responsible for maintaining the record of approvals and disapprovals for each delivery; generating Configuration and Data Management requirements for Statements of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statements (PWS) for all system life cycle phases; and verifying all deliverables have assigned Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs). The Data Manager will prepare CDRLs, staff and complete DD Form 1423s (CDRL) and support other functional discipline CDRL preparation, coordination and consolidation. You will also prepare Contract Requirements Package (CRP) Document Summary Lists (DSL) for contract packages and will prepare and transmit/upload drawings, parts lists and other documents to the Engineering Data Information Server (EDIS) Repository after release and /or baseline is completed.
Essential Duties:
- Prepare and receive contractor data and deliverables using the SHIELD MIS
- Maintain records of approvals and disapprovals for each contractor delivery
- Generate Configuration and Data Management requirements for SOWs and PWSs for all system life cycle phases
- Prepare and manage CDRLs, DD Form 1423s, and support for other functional discipline CDRLs preparation, coordination, and consolidation
- Prepare CRP DSLs for contract packages
- Prepare and transmit/upload drawings, parts lists, and other documentation to the EDIS Repository `after release and. or baseline is completed
Required Skills and Experience:
- High School diploma or above
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Data Management
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Configuration Management supporting a DOD Project/Product Office
- Experience in CRP development
- Experience in SOW and/or PWS development for USG contracts

$78,100—$104,200 USD
