Key responsibilities:
- Serves as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and IT to ensure that data related business requirements for maintaining and protecting data are clearly defined, communicated and well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning.
- Develops & maintains inventory of the enterprise master data process maps, including authoritative systems and owners of data.
- Facilitates the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise for master data domains (Customer /Supplier /Material/Pricing/Location).
- Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements.
- Resolve issues escalated from Business and Functional areas as well as data governance representatives.
- In conjunction with the Business, provides support to Senior Management.
- Adjusts to multiple demands and shifting priorities; accepts responsibility for results of actions.
- Works with team to support achievement of project milestones and deliver on internal and/or external commitments.
- Must be able to communicate clearly, negotiate, listen, mitigate conflict, build alliances and achieve desired results using strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
- Builds productive internal relationships.
- Collaborates with others to achieve objectives and ensure information flow. Responsible for meeting budget goals and objectives for department.
- Reviews functional requirements and makes recommendations to satisfy business needs.
- Maintains oversight of enterprise-wide initiatives and leads teams’ initiatives from design through implementation.
- Initiates intake of relevant activity to Shared Global Business Service Center while gaining efficiencies, effectiveness and overall benefits to internal GBS and external SBU customers.
Requires:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 5+ years directly leading projects and/or managing teams
- Business and/or ERP/master data experience a plus
- Experience with Data Governance principles, master data operations & leading projects advantageous
- Knowledge of SAP ERP is a +
