Humana’s Marketing organization is seeking a Data Management Lead to support our Marketing Data Strategy, Analytics and Measurement teams working remote anywhere in the US. As the Data Management Lead, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our marketing analytics data sandbox, designing and delivering new data products for analytics partners, and will help us with a transformation from Oracle to Databricks. Additionally, you will partner with various marketing and enterprise partners to design and deploy data assets that support world class marketing analytics.

Key Role Functions

  • Data strategy and configuration

  • Data management

  • Quality monitoring and issue resolution

  • Support implementation of requirements management, document management, change management, production and delivery of data

  • Acquire, validate, store, protect, and process required data to ensure the accessibility, reliability, and timeliness of the data for its users

  • Develop and execute architectures, policies, practices and procedures that properly manage the full data lifecycle needs for Marketing Analytics

  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior associates

 Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Math, Management Information Systems or other relevant field

  • 8 or more years of technical experience building and maintaining analytics data assets

  • 2 or more years of project leadership experience

  • Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation

  • Proficient at Structured Query Language

  • Must be passionate about contributing to a one team culture

  • Experience leading and mentoring associates

  • Proven experience exercising independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks and works under minimal supervision

  • Proven experience using independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Oracle database and Unix operating systems

  • Experience with Databricks

  • Experience with SAS and/or SPSS

  • Experience with large data sets and health-care data

  • Intermediate to advanced experience in programming, analytical work, research and/or statistics

Additional Information 

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested

  • Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership

  • Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$106,900 - $147,000 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
