WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
As the Engineering Manager - Insights, your mission is to cultivate and enable a data-first company culture which is a critical factor for Getsafe’s success. You will lead a team of skilled engineers and data professionals to architect, build, and maintain robust data infrastructure and tools that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization.
YOUR MISSION:
- Make data accessible and by this enable data to be part of everyday decision-making for all relevant stakeholders at Getsafe together with other data leaders from data science and analytics teams.
- Ensure that our employees understand and can effectively work with data. Providing training and resources to enhance data literacy.
- Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
- Drive innovation by evaluating and adopting emerging technologies and techniques to enhance Getsafe's data capabilities.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence.
ABOUT YOU:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving common goals.
- Hands-on experience with modern (self-service) BI tools, cloud databases, data pipeline automation and data modeling.
- Strong SQL as well as Python experience - additional experience with Airflow is desired.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Innovative mindset with a passion for exploring new technologies and solving complex problems.
- Results-oriented with a focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes.
