You will be joining and playing a key role in architecting, implementing and managing data processing pipelines and data models that contribute to our data from various internal systems and third-party vendors. Our goal is to streamline and simplify our data and integration architecture to help our teams and customers make data-driven decisions and increase automation. You will support our focus on member agencies, advisors and suppliers and set the foundation for every initiative and project that we undertake. Your understanding of users along with the economics of Ensemble’s business are important in delivering tools that will meet the needs of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and automate data (ingest, transform, stage, deploy) and integration (low code, no cade, bidirectional) workflows
- Maintain, support and evaluate data and integration workflows for improvement.
- Develop and take ownership of the consortia data warehouse and related data pipelines to empower and standardize data access and self service
- Operational ownership and support of integration workflows
- Identify areas of improvement to the current data & integration infrastructure
- Determine scope and prepare requirements documents for projects to ensure scope and business requirements are understood and acceptable to stakeholders
- Work as a team member with other technical staff, to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems
- Prepare detailed data flow charts and diagrams outlining data flow capabilities and processes
- Document system problems and resolutions for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, Information Science, or relevant field
- Proven experience as an integration developer, engineer or data scientist
- Background in data warehouse design, dimensional modeling and data mining.
- In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) frameworks.
- Knowledge of and experience with different databases (MSSQL, MySQL), programming languages (Python and R), XML and REST APIs.
- Knowledge and experience with various integration toolsets (Power Automate, Codeless, Azure Functions) and associated languages (Node.js, C#)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Ability to effectively participate in multiple major projects or project roles or lead a variety of project team activities/tasks.
- Work experience in ecommerce or travel industry preferred.
