PROS is seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data engineering, work on real-world projects, and contribute to our data-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Engineer ETL processes gathering external data into the PROS Data Platform.
- Collaborate with the Data Platform and Data Science teams to set up and maintain various ETL processes for our internal data warehouse.
- Identify and guide internal, data-guided process improvement analyses across cross-functional groups.
- Code and construct analyses and data visualizations to expose operational data internally.
- Work closely with other engineers and data scientists to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
- Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines, data models, and databases.
- Participate in discussions related to data architecture and design.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with ETL processes, data modeling, and database management.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Passion for working with data and a desire to learn and grow in the field of data engineering.
