Job Summary
As a Data Engineer Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our data infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data workflows are efficient, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
Job Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer Support Specialist to ensure data workflows are efficient, secure, and aligned with business objectives. This position will be full-time and remote.
What You'll Do:

Manage and optimize data pipelines and workflows using AWS Redshift, Glue, and Lambda.

Develop and execute complex SQL queries for data analysis and extraction.

Implement and maintain data storage solutions using S3 and DynamoDB.

Utilize AWS Athena for efficient data query and analysis.

Support infrastructure as code initiatives with Terraform, ensuring scalable and reliable infrastructure deployments.

Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to support their data needs.

Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards.
What You'll Need:
Required Skills

Proven experience with AWS services, including Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, and Athena.

Strong proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.

Experience with DynamoDB and understanding of NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools, particularly Terraform.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a similar data engineering support role

Knowledge of data security best practices

AWS certifications are a plus
