Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our IT Data team for Intelligent Operations in Warsaw. In this role, you will be responsible for building systems that ingest and convert IT data into usable models for business analysts, data science and machine learning solutions. You will work on data transformation and visualization leveraging various Azure components & tools.
Responsibilities

Understand the business requirements and convert them into technical design of data pipelines and data models

Write code to ingest, transform and harmonize raw data into usable refined models

Analyze multiple data sets associated with the use cases in-scope to effectively design and develop the most optimal data models and transformation

Introduce improvements and innovations to development approaches, data engineering practices and architecture strategies

Automate incident detection processes based on multiple data sets, real-time data stream analysis

Suggest and implement system architecture improvements
Job Qualifications
-
Python and SQL programming skills
-
Cloud Understanding
-
Experience with cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure stack (including Databricks, AAS, Cosmos DB etc.) Previous experience with or understanding of Data Models and Knowledge Graphs

PySpark and Hive programming skills
-
Demonstrated skills in database/data modeling (acquisition from various sources, transformation and sharing)

Hands-on experience writing clean, effective code
Nice to Have

Good technical skills in data visualization tools like Power BI
-
Knowledge and/or experience with using or building CI/CD tools
-
Knowledge of SCRUM and DevOps methodologies
