What You’ll Do:

We're looking for a talented engineer to join Pigment’s growth team. Our team is composed of 9 people, of which 2 make up the engineering team (Diego and Antoine) - so you’d be the 3rd one. You’ll be working on designing and implementing high-impact initiatives to drive revenue and efficiencies across the GTM teams.

Velocity and fast experimentation are at the heart of our multidisciplinary squad that combines a strong business mindset and technical skills. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and revenue operations, to design and deploy scalable solutions that accelerate revenue growth.

We value system design skills as we do not want to limit ourselves to running scripts, but want instead to create a real piece of software that runs consistently and is maintainable. Autonomy and initiative-taking are very important for this position. You will not receive properly defined tickets to solve. An important part of your job will be to talk with our internal stakeholders, understand their needs, assess whether it’s feasible and then finally do it. Similarly, you need to be comfortable dealing with uncertainty as new goals may quickly appear

Technical tasks

  • Build Cloud Functions to collect and enrich data using third party APIs
  • Build dbt models to leverage our data and make it actionable in our business tools (Salesforce, Hubspot, Slack, etc.)
  • Add new features to our web app (FastAPI/React) to allow internal users to access our data and interact with it
  • Review the code of fellow engineers
  • Take architectural design decisions to help our stack scale and to reduce complexity and bugsLook for improvements to increase our productivity and make our system more stable (CI, refactorings, introduction of new tools…)

Collaborative tasks

  • Collaborate with the non-engineer members of our team to understand their work/needs and find ways to help them
  • Develop company-level data projects by communicating with other teams and identifying opportunities for collaboration (especially with the revenue operations and marketing teams)
  • Work on longer term planning for our team by defining our tech roadmap for each quarter
  • You have 2+ years of experience in an Engineering, Growth, or Data role
  • You have a Growth mindset and are interested in Sales/Marketing initiatives and challenges
  • You're able to function in a fast-paced environment, identifying and prioritizing what needs to get done without continuous direct instruction
  • You have a doer personality with the ability to own and build growth projects with attention to details
  • You can communicate with non-technical team members to understand their needs and define together the tasks you’ll be working on
  • You’re able to deliver fast when it’s needed and to come back to a project later to improve it

Skills

  • Experienced with Python and SQL
  • Experience with a cloud provider. We use GCP, so experience with this one in particular is even better (Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Tasks…)
  • Experience with Terraform (optional)
  • Experience with dbt (optional)
  • Experience with js/React (optional)
  • Experience with Docker (optional)

What we offer:

  • Competitive package
  • Stock options to ensure you have a stake in Pigment's growth
  • The best health insurance with Alan Blue entirely free for you and your family 💙
  • Weekly Lunch and Lunch vouchers featured by Swile
  • Trust and flexible working hours

What We Do

In a world moving at an incredibly fast pace, businesses have grown accustomed to change. Transforming their business model, pivoting their strategy, rethinking their go-to-market, the list goes on.

To enable these changes, they have also had to rethink the way they work.
Breaking down silos isn’t a best practice anymore. It’s a given.

And yet, when it comes to planning, little has changed. In fact, planning tools work the exact opposite way, reinforcing data and people silos, and preventing teams from working together toward their common goals.

As a result, planning is usually seen as a dreadful process.
But the truth is, planning drives strategy. It’s high time we serve it with the right tools.

Pigment is the business planning platform for fast-growing companies. Our mission is to help companies make better, faster decisions in a changing world, and drive revenue growth.
At Pigment we believe that:

✅ Real-time data informs better outcomes. Trim your sail, and make the best use of current winds.

✅ Reporting should be accurate, quick, and insightful.

✅ Planning should be simple, smooth, and delightful.

✅ Less time should be spent on data crunching, more time on bringing insights to the business.

✅ Collaboration should be at the heart of any planning process, so your organization works as one.
