Royal IHC is looking for a new: Cloud & Data Architect.
Are you a hybrid thinker who thrives at the intersection of cloud infrastructure and data architecture? We're looking for a Cloud & Data Architect to drive both data strategies and cloud platform designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage the complete data engineering lifecycle to support analytics, operations, and digital product development.
- Proven experience with integration, data architecture, and delivering scalable digital solutions.
- Design secure and scalable Azure cloud infrastructure to support data platforms and business-critical applications.
- Develop and maintain data integration flows using ETL tools and APIs (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks).
- Define and implement network architecture (vNETs, subnetting, NSGs, routing) and integrate secure connectivity to on-prem systems and IoT environments.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems.
- Manage and improve data governance frameworks and ensure GDPR compliance.
- Collaborate with IT, Business, and Engineering teams to align cloud and data architecture with strategic goals.
- Stay current with trends in both cloud infrastructure and data technology, and translate them into actionable improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in both data architecture and cloud infrastructure within the Azure ecosystem.
- Hands-on knowledge of ETL processes, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Python.
- Strong experience with Azure networking and infrastructure design (vNETs, NSGs, private endpoints).
- Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
- Experience with monitoring and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Grafana).
- Microsoft Azure and/or Databricks certifications are a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
