The Data Architect is tasked with designing, creating, deploying, and managing the data architecture of our company. Unlike the Data Business Analyst, who interprets data to derive actionable insights and support decision-making, the Data Architect focuses on the technical aspects of data management and architecture design. Their responsibilities include ensuring data integrity, security, and scalability across systems, as well as implementing frameworks for data governance and compliance. This distinction highlights the Data Architect's pivotal role in establishing the infrastructure that supports efficient data operations and strategic business objectives.

B. Job Responsibilities

Define vision, strategies, and principles for data management. Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data.

Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.

Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.

Install and organize information systems to guarantee company functionality. Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams. Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.

Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features. Evangelize data platform, standards, patterns and best practices across business partners.

1. Job Knowledge and Skills:

Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar role. In-depth understanding of database structure principles.

2. Years of Experience:

3+ years of experience in data analysis or business analysis, preferably in the automotive or financial services industry.

3. Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

4. Specific Course/Certifications

Experience with data modeling techniques and data mining. 
Excellent knowledge of SQL, RDS and database systems (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Amazon RDS, Informatica)
