Chemours is seeking a Data and Automation Engineering Intern to join our Process Control Technology Center team! This position will report directly to the Global Process Control & Automation Director.
As a Data and A&PC Engineering Intern, you will work closely with the Process Control Technology Center team gaining valuable experience through hands-on projects supporting manufacturing and deploying innovative tools. You will have exposure to real-time engineering work alongside other engineers to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom.
Top candidates for the position will have the ability to communicate with impact, have strong self-awareness, and will naturally be inquisitive.
Location: Wilmington, DE
Hours: Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week
Term: 3-month assignment between May-August 2025
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Working with experienced engineering professionals on improvement projects
-
Assisting operations and maintenance with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solving

Participating in process safety management activities and reviews

Contributing to team meetings and conference calls
The following is required for this role:
-
Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Freshman or above at time of assignment
-
Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or similar fields
-
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
The following is preferred for this role:
-
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)

Experience with databases, with specific knowledge of SQL
-
Strong interest in technology
-
3.0 GPA or above
