Position Summary
The Digital Health Analytics team in Vancouver is looking for a Senior Data Analyst who is passionate on big data technology and delivering data insight to help the business meeting the distinct needs of different customer cohorts. The data analyst works closely with our data engineering, data science, backend and frontend engineering, product design, business strategy and marketing teams to make decisions on how we should invest in specific data-driven platforms and products.
Role and Responsibilities
About the Job
Developing data dashboards, data sources and ETL for the related business insights
Analyze data in order to understand performance and behaviour of the Samsung Health mobile application, cloud services and operations
Help us innovate and develop new product insights by collaborating with the teams across Samsung to improve the customers satisfaction across the world · Works on exploratory data analysis to find patterns, anomalies and insights using statistical and analytical techniques.
Generate data reports and business insights using statistical analysis and the latest ML/AI technology
About You
Bachelor’s degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Big Data, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent professional field
5+ years of industry experience in data analysis or business intelligence with most of them from a product company
Expert knowledge of SQL to write efficient queries from large data volume. · Strong knowledge of Tableau data source and dashboard creation.
Experience with GCP services and Superset
Experience with GCP and various AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, Athena, Lambda, Kinesis Firehose, Redshift etc.)
Excellent communication and team working skills
Experience with business insights and senior leadership presentation.
Bonus Skills
Experience working with health data generated by mobile devices or IOT or Mobile Device Management (MDM) business
AWS or GCP or data visualization related certification
ML/AI related working experience
Skills and Qualifications
The salary range for this role is expected to be between $86,100 to $128,150 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience.
