About the role


We’re seeking a talented Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our video foundation model platform. In this role, you’ll help us establish and define Analytics at Twelve Labs; you’ll work closely with all facets of our business including our Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams to analyze product data, marketing data, sales data to help us define the metrics that matter and actionable insights that inform our strategy and development roadmap.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and statistics, as well as experience working with large datasets. In this role, you will

  • Collect, process, and analyze large volumes of product usage data, customer feedback, and market data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define key metrics and KPIs for measuring product performance and collaborate on ensuring the right instrumentation of desired logging
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to communicate insights and trends to internal stakeholders
  • Conduct user behavior analysis and segmentation to inform product development, pricing, and go-to-market strategies
  • Develop and apply statistical techniques to predict user behavior, churn, and lifetime value
  • Partner with customer success and sales teams to analyze customer data and identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and retention
  • Work with the marketing team to analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Collaborate with the research team to design and analyze experiments to test new product features and hypotheses
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams through clear and concise presentations and reports
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data science, machine learning, and product analytics

You may be a good fit if you have

  • 3+ years of experience as an analyst or data scientist in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
  • Comfort with business intelligence tools in creating and maintaining reporting
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and clustering
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable insights
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business-relevant insights
  • Collaborative and cross-functional team player, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with video understanding AI technologies and their applications is a plus
