In this role you will be responsible for creating and managing BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge.
You will also have the opportunity to support several stakeholders across the company with the right data to enable fact-based decision making and drive a proactive approach for growth.
In this position you can make an international impact with the Sales Support team and cooperate with colleagues from all over the world.
What you can look forward to in this role
As a Data Analyst, you will be performing quantitative analysis with large datasets to create market outlook predictions, develop BI dashboards/reports, build customer business cases and enhance sales tools. Furthermore, you will:
- Analysing internal and external business data to provide insights and support market intelligence projects and initiatives - regular reports and ad-hoc analysis
- Developing predictive models (via Power BI)
- Contributing to the development of sales tools by applying statistical methods, mathematical modelling, and visualization tools
- Generating customer business reviews and business cases
- Maintaining and developing further databases and platforms for customer and vessel data.
- Optimizing data structures and processes
- Supporting the smooth integration of market data models into corporate systems, by working closely with the Master Data and CRM teams´ requirements.
What does it take to become our new team member?
- At least 3 years of data analytics experience with an academic background in relevant subjects ( i.e. Math, Computer Science, Statistics and/or Business)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with data visualization tools, i.e. Power BI and/or Tableau
- Experience of building data reports and dashboards visualizations
- Strong knowledge and advanced with MS Excel, Power Point
- Analytical mindset and detail oriented with ability to focus and prioritize a demanding workload
- Willingness to work in a high - paced environment where you may need to quickly shift priorities
- Agile - team working experience and great team spirit
- Communication skills in English is required
