Data Analyst

We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Data analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

This position is essential to the success of our automotive dealership partners. Through your efforts, we will help our industry put safer used cars on the road, create revenue growth for our customers, and solve challenging automotive industry problems.

Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Ownership: Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines to ensure consistent data flow and quality, including error handling and monitoring.
• ETL Process Improvement: Design and implement efficient ETL processes, leveraging automation and best practices to enhance data transformation accuracy and speed.
• Data Analysis and Insights: Conduct exploratory data analysis, identify trends and patterns, and translate complex findings into actionable recommendations for business growth.
• Tableau Dashboard Development: Create interactive and visually appealing dashboards to communicate data insights effectively to various stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision making.
• Data Governance: Enforce data quality standards, maintain data dictionaries, and collaborate with stakeholders to establish data governance policies and procedures.

Skills

• Technical Proficiency: Strong SQL skills, proficiency in ETL tools, and expertise in Tableau for data manipulation, transformation, and visualization.
• Data Modeling: Ability to design and implement effective data models to support business requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of data issues and develop solutions to improve data quality and reliability.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of business processes and metrics to effectively translate business questions into data-driven insights.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
