Data Extraction and Transformation:

• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into database systems for analysis

• Develop and maintain SQL queries and procedures to support data extraction and transformation

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Create and manage custom reports and dashboards to communicate findings effectively.

• Interpret data using statistical techniques and provide actionable insights to stakeholders

Database Management:

• Design, construct, install, test, and maintain scalable data management systems

• Ensure database systems run efficiently and securely at all times.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Data Integrity and Quality:

• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality

• Ensure data integrity by reviewing reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problem.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Extensive experience in writing complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Proven ability to optimize SQL queries to improve performance and efficiency
• Experience with various SQL-based database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Oracle
• Skilled in analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Proficient in creating detailed reports and dashboards using data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Excel
• Experience in statistical analysis and data modeling to support business decision-making
• Expertise in designing, constructing, and maintaining scalable database systems.
• Experience in database normalization, indexing, and performance tuning to ensure efficient data retrieval
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and R for data manipulation and analysis
• Experience in automating data extraction and reporting tasks using scripts
• Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve data-related issues promptly
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug SQL queries and database performance issues
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in leading projects and coordinating with different departments to achieve common goals
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft SQL Certification, Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate, or similar
