- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in fields related to Government and Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science or Pre-Law)
Impact You'll Make:
- Execute and implement the overall plan and strategy for the Insurance Division’s data collection initiatives.
- Research and analyze legal, regulatory and statutory issues confronting the availability of public record and DMV data.
- Present Data Sharing proposals to government officials, and act as the primary liaison between TransUnion and various government agencies
- Identify and interpret regulatory changes and public policy applicable to acquisition efforts and company- wide goals.
- Propose solutions related to content acquisition, working closely with supervising attorneys, outside counsel, management and lobbying groups.
- Ability to think critically and anticipate how legal, political and regulatory changes could impact deadlines and the operational plan. Pivot strategies and efforts based on analysis.
- In accordance with directives from Product, identify and recommend acquisition initiatives based on research, feasibility and competitive intelligence.
- Provide analytic support to outline scope and accurate benchmarks for acquisition deliverables.
- Work closely with the Product team to identify the legalities and ease of expanding uses of data.
- Track key milestone and metrics related to the data on-boarding lifecycle, from point of acquisition, through analysis, transformation and deployment.
- Maintain tracking mechanisms for competitive intelligence and Case Management Software providers. Leverage intelligence gathered to assist the team in development of acquisition strategies.
- Use multiple dashboards and communication tools to keep project managers and business units up to date on data availability.
- Consult with management to assist with strategic direction, share information, understand business issues, and solicit feedback on acquisition strategies and efforts.
- Provide pre and post production support for internal stakeholders including Development, Data Management and Product.
- Assist in the development of Thought Leadership material for the Insurance Division-from ideation, data design and analysis to presentation.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $100,100.00 - $150,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.
Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
